Empty Product Review - Avene Eluage Eye Contour Care

Hi Pretties

Today's empty product review is on the Avene Eluage Anti-Age Reconstruction Eye Contour Cream.  I received this in the May Bellabox and I recently had the chance to use this when I finished off my Palmers eye cream.

Being 25, eye creams are a preventative measure for me.  I am beginning to see some fine lines around my eyes so I really want to nip them in the bud and hold them off as long as I can.  I really liked this eye cream.  The product was nice and gentle, blended well and not too heavy. If I didn't keep getting eye creams in my Belllaboxes and LustHaveIt's I may just purchase a full size of this.  I guess that is one downside of the beauty boxes, they keep you in products like this so you don't need to buy then.  Kind of counterproductive for the brands I think.

Have a great day!

Empty Product Review - Bobbi Brown Mascara

This is an empty product review for the Bobbi Brown Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara that came in a May's Bellabox.

This was a really nice product to receive in a Bellabox and a really nice size.

This mascara is nice and black and does indeed lengthen quite nicely.  The only thing I didn't really like about this mascara is that it kind of gave me spider lashes.  While it lengthened, it did nothing for volume or texture.  It also seemed to dry out pretty quickly.

A nice mascara but I won't be purchasing for full price.

July Lust Have It - Open Box

Hi pretties

My Lust Have It came yesterday so it's time for another open box post.  While I wasn't overly excited about this months box (bag) there are a lot of practical travel items in this box.

Pure Fiji Hydrating Body Lotion (Orange Blossom Infusion) - This product smells amazing and I have previously tried the Pure Fiji Body Butter and I really liked it.

Avene Gentle Eye Makeup Remover - This eye makeup remover is for sensitive eyes and came at a great time as this is the perfect travel size and I also finished off my current eye makeup remover tonight.

Avene Gentle Purifying Scrub - I pretty much have tiny scrubs coming out of my ears but this will be another one to try.  It is for sensitive skin also.

Matrix Biolage Smooththerapie Smoothing Conditioner - I currently use the Matrix Biolage Hydratherapie De-tangling Solution so it will be good to try another Matrix conditioner.  It is also a great travel size.

Matrix Biolage Smooththerapie Smoothing Shampoo - Same deal as the conditioner!

Tigi Bead Head Shine Junkie - I am very unimpressed with this colour.  It's a gross colour so hopefully it comes out clear and it seems quite chunky in the tube.  Ikky

So that's my Lust Have It for July.  Were you impressed with your box?

Stopping My Stash - Day 3

Hello there

Today was pretty un-successful for my shopping my stash challenge.  Most of my blushes I use regularly and I've given all my bronzers a go so today I only got to use 2 products.

Today I wore the Essence Stay All Day long lasting eyeshadow in Stars and Stories .  It's not that I don't use this eyeshadow a lot, it is that I have never used it!  It's a bright metallic silver in the pot which I thought would be a bit much for everyday but it turns out this is quite a bit muted and a nice lid colour.

The second product I rarely use as I don't have much of a use for.  It is a synthetic Coastal Scents brush ideal for cream eyeshadow so, I used it for cream eyeshadow.

Well that's it for today!  Hopefully I have better luck shopping my stash tomorrow!

Shopping My Stash - Day Two

Hi Pretties

Welcome to shopping my stash day two.  I managed to use another 5 neglected items today.

First up is a ModelCo lipgloss from a LustHaveIt in Showgirl red.  No real reason for neglecting this product I just prefer lipsticks.  This gloss has a nice sheer tint to it and it quite shiny.  This is not sticky at all which is really nice.

Next up is another product from my Priceline gift with purchase bag from a couple of months ago.  This is a nice Australis blush from the Paparazzi Perfect line in Poser.  I neglect this because it is very pigmented.  Even if I use a stippling brush to lightly apply it is very dark and can almost look muddy at times.  By the end of the day when it has started to wear off my skin it is a much prettier colour.

Another neglected Mac product.  This is an eyeshadow in the colour Blanc Type.  The only real reason this gets neglected is most palettes have a highlight shade that is just easier to use than this one being a single shadow.  I wore this across the lid today and as a brow highlight.

Fourth product is the colour 284 from the Loreal Studio Secrets range.  I wore this in my crease today for a very natural look.  I don't generally reach for this eyeshadow much as it is not overly pigmented and takes a bit of work to get a good colour pay off.  It's too much hard work of a morning.

Lastly is another old, old bronzer.  This particular one is by Face of Australia called Outback bronze.  A little too shimmery for a bronzing powder as I much prefer a matte bronzer (like Hoola!).  It is also the type where you shake a little out into the lid so it is a little hard to get an even application with a large brush.

Thanks for reading my pretties.

Have you shopped your stash today?

Shopping my stash - Day 1

Anyone with a largish makeup collection knows that you are going to have favourites.  Products will get neglected and start to feel a little depressed if they don't get some love.  That's why I have devoted this week to be a 'shop my stash week' for my unloved products.

The aim of the game is to stop reaching for my favourites and give some of my other makeup a chance.  The pieces I have chosen are ones that I cannot remember the last time I used them.  Today I managed to use 4 less used products!

The first product is old.  Really old.  So old the label has pretty much worn off and I have not seen this packaging for years.  I should probably throw it out, but I hate wastage.  In case you can't tell what it is, it is a bronzer by Covergirl in the shade Soleil.  I actually think they still make this shade but the packaging has changed.  I used this today instead of my Hoola bronzer and it did the job.  I have not fallen in love with it again yet though.

Secondly I gave an unloved lipstick a go.  I still don't like this either.  I got this Revlon lipstick for free with the Priceline gift with purchase bag.  The colour is called Blush and it is a orangy based nude which is not a great colour for me.  It looks like my lips but more orange when I can get it to show up at all.  This I may actually ditch.  I don't like it and I don't think I ever will.

Yup, I'm neglecting an expensive Mac product.  I did my research online before ordering this blush and I really wished I had waited until I went into the store but I am inpatient and couldn't wait and just ordered it online.  I tossed up for about 2 hours between Well Dressed and Dame and decided on Well Dressed.  I wish I picked Dame.  This colour is just a little too sheer for me and I really have to pack it on to get any colour to show up.  I'm pale too!  I don't really dislike this blush but since getting Benefit Thrrrob I rarely use it as the colours are so similar but the Benefit just has way better colour pay off.

The last product I really like.  It is an eyeshadow palette by BYS called Summer Sheen (I blogged about this here and have included swatches).  I bought this back in April and the colours are amazing but sadly it has gotten a little neglected for a couple of reasons.  1. This was an impulse buy and around $6.  I had not long before ordered my UD Naked Palette and it arrived a couple of days after I got this.  Clearly I'm going to be way more excited about my UD Naked Palette that I had ordered and waited on and lusted over for months that an impulse buy. 2. The colours in the pan are very difficult to tell what they actually look like so it makes it pretty hard to put a look together without being covered in swatches.  I don't have time for swatches of a morning lol.  But I used this this morning and loved the look I came up with.  This is a little treasure I think I'll get some more use out of.

Thanks for reading pretties!  Stay tuned for episode 2 tomorrow of 'Shopping my stash!'

Teen makeup starter kit ideas

Hi pretties

I've been doing a lot of reminiscing lately about being a teenager, specifically around 13/14 years old and it got me thinking.  If I knew then what I know now, what would I do differently?  Being a beauty lover, of course my mind turned to makeup.  So I thought while it was on my mind I would compile a list of products I wish I had the sense and knowledge to buy back then.  You may be a teen reading this, or a parent looking for ideas for your teen, or just someone who reads my blog (thank you) but hopefully you will get something out of my ideas and experiences.

1.  Tinted moisturizer or a light foundation

When I was around 12 or 13 a neighborhood friend held a mother/daughter Nutrimetics party for the girls in our area.  There were around 6 of us in the street all around the same age.  The idea was we were starting to get an interest in make up so a beauty consultant could show us a few simple ideas to stop us looking like clowns when we started experimenting.  The first thing the consultant did was colour match us with a foundation or tinted moisturizer.  I highly, highly recommend getting colour matched for your first 'base' and investing in a quality product.  A foundation or tinted moisturizer can last you around 6 months and a  quality product can cost you around AUD$50.  If you wear it 5 days a week that equates to around 40 cents per application and the investment can be well worth it.  If you are a younger teen without an income, ask one of your relatives to get you product for a present :)

I highly recommend, however, if you don't need foundation that you stick to tinted moisturizer.  Keep your skin as fresh as you can for as long as you can.

2. Concealer

I am not a concealer wearer and I never have been.  Although when I was covered in hormonal pimples and spots I wish that I was.  Unfortunately my mother does not wear concealer and I have no older sisters who could show me the concealer ropes so I went without.  Concealer is another product I recommend getting colour matched at a counter for, but not necessarily paying a lot for either.  It can be a tricky thing to find a concealer that works for you so trying out a few inexpensive products and finding a formulation that works for you might be best.

Your under-eye concealer is generally a different product to your spot concealer so keep this in mind.  Again, if you can go without, please do.

3. Setting powder for oily skin

Many teens have oily skin and a mattifying setting powder can be very helpful keeping oily skin at bay.  This is one of the only times in this post I will recommend an actual product, but I am in love with Rimmel Stay Matte translucent powder.  I still use this product and can't rave about it enough.

4. Clear or brown mascara

Mascara can really make your eyes stand out and look great, but black can be quite a harsh look on young teens so stick to a clear or brown mascara.

5. An eye shadow palette

If you're just starting out with make up or looking for an essential product for your collection I recommend investing in an eyes shadow palette.  Coastal Scents have some great deals on their website.  The great thing about being a teen is you get to experiment so experiment away!  You can also get away with shimmers as you don't have any fine lines for those glittery colours to settle into you.  I recommend the 88 shimmer palette and the 88 neutral palette from Coastal Scents.  You can get them for around AUD$15 on special every couple of weeks and they are full of a variety of colours to try out and decide what you like and what suits you.

6. Blush or bronzer

To be honest I didn't really start experimenting with bronzer until I was about 17, and blush until I was 24!  I think just one blush or bronzer is more than enough as a young teen and I wouldn't wear it every day.  Maybe save that one for a special occasion and get either a pale pink or coral blush (very hard to go wrong with either of those), and a mildly shimmery bronzer.  Just don't go overboard with either.

7. Lip gloss

Skip the lippy and invest in a clear or pale pink lip gloss.  This is a much fresher look for a teen and much easier to apply.  Ah my teen years were filled with 'Lip Smackers' and that sickly sweet smell still pops into my thoughts sometimes.

8. A decent brush set

Your brush set can make or break your makeup application and I recommend asking for a decent brush set for a Christmas or Birthday present as they can get quite expensive.  For a great kit at a great price I recommend the Coastal Scents 22 piece brush set (I promise Coastal Scents do not sponsor me I just think their products are great for starters and basics!), EcoTools brushes or Furless Cosmetics brush sets.

I honestly don't think a young teen requires any more makeup than this to start with and you can request product you may like to try out for birthdays and Christmas.

I hope this post has been helpful and if you have any questions please leave me a comment below :)

Caitlin xoxo

July Bellabox - Open Box

Hi Pretties

Bellabox came today!  The theme of this months Bellabox was Essential Beauty Buys.  These are supposed to be your most basic beauty products.  You can watch the video of the un-boxing right here!

Alternatively, read on to see what was inside!

This months Bellabox had a huge amount of products in it.  And no box!  The three larger products were inside the e-parcel and the smaller products were in the little blue bag in the picture.  That was nice for a change.  Unfortunately the blue bag is terrible quality but I probably wouldn't use it anyway.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser  ($13.99/175ml) - This is the first product I pulled out of the box.  I have not tried Neutrogena products in years and when I last did I had teenage skin and it really didn't work for me.  It will be interesting to see how it works on my adult skin now.

You, Me & Everybody Shady Lady Daily Face Milk ($9.99/75ml) - The second product I pulled out is a moisturizer/ sun screen.  Moisturizers with sun screen tend to break me out horribly so I will see how this goes.  If this is the case I will save this for summer use only when sunscreen is a real necessity.

Nutro-Synergy Sensitive Skin Cleanser ($15.95/500ml) - This large product is actually a sample size.  It's 100ml!  I'm not overly excited to get two large cleansers in Bellabox as my skin is quite picky with cleansers but hopefully neither of them will break me out or dry me out.  If not, more brush cleaners!

Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Scrub (No price listed) - This is the size product I would expect from a Bellabox.  My skin is not sensitive to scrubs and I only have a sample size at the moment anyway so I will get some use from this.

Elf Essentials Brush Range Brow and Lash Brush ($3.99/brush) - Elf is not a brand that is very popular in Australia.  It's not available in our stores but I am wondering if they will be introducing them to stores since they are making an appearance in Bellabox.  My mind is ticking.  Something to stay tuned to I think!

Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm (5.99/tube) - I am yet to try Carmex but I have heard a lot of good things about the brand.  Hurray for lip balm in winter.  It is such a useful product.

Ulta3 nail polish in Mulberry ($2/bottle) - I have a few of the Ulta3 nail polishes and fortunately I don't have this colour.  I'm in two minds on receiving and Ulta3 polish in a Bellabox.  This has happened before and while it is not a luxury sample being that they are sold for $2, but on the other hand I would rather a product I would use than one that I dislike.

Givenchy Pi Neo sample (80/50ml) - A perfume sample for the men in your life.  A nice little extra however I hate these perfume samples in these little packets.  There is no good way to store them for a second use so I feel like I'm wasting the product.

Royal Moroccan Hair Repair Shampoo, Conditioner ($17.95/300ml) and Serum Treatment ($29.95/100ml) - I've seen this brand around the place and have been interested to try them.  These are great sized samples and I am looking forward to using them.

I am very pleased with this months Bellabox.  While there are no makeup samples I am quite content with the skin care.

Well done Bellabox!

Caitlin's Sunday Night Haul

Hi Pretties!

I'm back with another Sunday night haul.

This week I have just a few beauty items to show you that I have hauled, or you can watch the collective haul video below!

Anyways, if you would prefer the text, here goes.

Yesterday I went to Westfield Tuggerah on the Central Coast in NSW.  This is not my normal shopping centre but I felt like a bit of a change at it is only about a 40 minute drive to Tuggerah so it was a  nice adventure.

At Priceline I picked up the Organix Hydrating Macadamia Oil mask on special for $15 from $20.  Being winter my hair has been a little dry lately and I have been heat styling a little more than normal so I thought my hair could do with a treat.  I used this this afternoon and so far so good.  The smell is divine I really struggled not to try to eat the product!  Sort of like cookies and caramel and all things delicious!

Next I picked up another two of the Essence Stay All Day long lasting eyeshadows.  I looooove these I think the quality is brilliant for $5.50.  I really feel that these compare to the Mac paint pots and mabye are a little bit better again on my lids as they do not crease like my paint pot can.  I bought the colour Glammy Goes To which is a goldern bronze colour and I also purchased Camp Rock which is a silver.  I already have Copy Right which is a bronze.

I also purchased at Target the Target brand Naturals eye make up remover as they were having 40% off and I am almost finished my Maybelline make up remover.  It was only $5ish so I will let you know how that goes.

I wanted to get a Mac mineralise skin finish but the crappy David Jones didn't have a Mac counter so I went to Napoleon instead and broke my Napoleon virginity and made my first purchase from them.  I got a really pretty 'blush' called blush patrol which is a mineralise product with swirls of pink, burgundy and gold shimmer.  I used inverted comers as I really think this is too shimmery for a blush but absolutely gorgeous as a highlight colour.  It would be a very pretty blush, I just prefer a matter blush.

During the week I also picked up a couple of things as well from Target.  I got the green make up remover wipes in the Target brand.  I have tried the pink ones and they were so so but I thought I would give the green ones a try as they are only $3.  I also bought from Revlon the Just Bitten  Lip Stain and Balm as I want to do a comparison between the current Revlon lip stain available in our stores and the new Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain that is available in the US.  I have ordered one so I shall get the comparison up when it arrives.  This was on special for $12 as well.  I ordered off ebay the Covergirl Lip stain as well to compare to the others.  I believe Max Factor also sells a lip stain so I will probably pick that up as well to throw into the mix.

My Revlon lip butter finally arrived from the Revlon app competition as well this week and I got the colour Cupcake.  Unfortunately I already have this colour and it is not one of my favourites so I'll be holding onto this for a swap or a giveaway rather than using it.

Well that's my haul for the week.

What did you guys get?

Empty Product Review - Nivea Aqua Sensations Invigorating Day Cream

Hi Pretties

Happy Friday 13th!  I hope you all have some scary plans for this evening.

I thought I would end the week with an empty product review for you of the Nivea Aqua Sensations Invigorating Day Cream.  If you follow my blog regularly, you will know I'm a huge fan of the Nivea products and this is no exception.

Prior to using this adorable little jar of blue cream I was using the Nivea Young Control Shine Mattifying Cream/Gel.  I had been using the Nivea Young range for years and as my skin was maturing and the dreaded 25 was approaching my skin is no longer oily but is more combination to dry now.  So my Nivea Young was drying me out.  Not that I stopped loving it, I just moved on from it.  So I picked up the Nivea Aqua Sensations expecting great things and I was not disappointed.

The cream comes in a little glass jar with a blue plastic lid and is about $15.  You can get it on special for around $10 if you shop around.  While I love the look and feel of the jar it's not the most hygienic of the bunch, but if you don't share your cream around you should be fine.  Or you can pick up a little spatula if you are worried.

This cream has the regular blue colour and scent of Nivea products that I love, and I find it very moisturizing for my now combination skin.  I do need a thicker moisturizer for night time, particularly in winter but this is still great for day time.  I've already purchased my next jar!

Have you tried to Nivea Aqua Sensations Invigorating Day Cream?  Do you love Nivea as much as I do?

15 tips to stay flu free this winter

Hello my pretties.

I'm sick :(  I have the winter flu.  I have tried so hard to avoid it I normally escape winter without a serious flu but my partner has been quite sick along with my colleagues so it was a little hard to avoid this one.

On the upside, it has motivated me to do a post on a few tips to stay flu free all winter.  (Some I should read a little closer myself!)

1.  Stay hydrated.  You might not feel like drinking as much water in the wintertime, but it is still very important.

2. Stay sanitized.  Wash your hands regularly if you around sick people, or indeed just a lot of people, and carry a handbag sized sanitizer with you to keep the germies away.

3.  Get a flu shop.  Ah the dreaded flu shot debate.  Is it worth it, is it a waste of time/ money?  It can't hurt right!

4. Open the windows.  It may be cold outside but that breeze helps to circulate the stale air and keep your home fresh.

5. Pop a multi-vitamin or vitamin C daily.  If you are not getting all your nutritional needs from you diet (which the majority of us don't) a multi-vitamin will keep your health in check.  Remember to check with your doctor that this won't affect any of your other medications before you start.

6. Use a tissue.  Whenever you blow your nose or sneeze use a tissue not a hanky.  It is more hygienic and they can be thrown in your recycling bin.

7. Use your own glass and bottle of water.  Sharing is caring but sharing germs is yucky in winter!

8. Keep up your exercise routine in winter.  By staying active you stay healthier.

9. Don't smoke, binge drink or use drugs.  Yup, pretty much goes without saying these things can all make us sick and don't keep us at our best.

10. Dry your hair before leaving the house.  Your Grandmother was right... You might catch a cold.  (Dry shampoo and updos are my best friend in winter!)

11. Avoid extreme temperature changes.  Don't stand in front of the heater rugged up before going outside.  Pop your coat and scarf on just before leaving the house to stay as warm as you can.  Same goes for that heater in the car..

12. Get more sleep.  Winter is the perfect time to hibernate in your bed and getting 7-10hrs a night will keep your body fighting fit.

13. If you feel a cold coming on, take a cold and flu capsule and head straight to bed.  It may just save you from suffering the full force of the illness.

14. Glen20 everything.  Your door handles, keyboard, phone, light switches.  Anything that multiple people are touching and spreading germs.

15.  Relax.  Relaxed people are healthy people.  Take some time out for yourself and take a yoga class or read a book under a blanket.

I hope you find some of these tips healthy.  I'm going to take a leaf out of my own book and have a vitamin c, drink up some water and read a book on the lounge.  Daytime TV is crap anyway!

Empty Product Review - Batiste Dry Shampoo

Hi Pretties

You know you like a product when you repurchase it.  Again and again.

This is how I feel about the Batiste dry shampoo.  I've just finished my third can of this stuff and if I didn't have a travel sized one I had received in my June LustHaveIt I would be rushing out to buy another.

There are about 5 or 6 in the Batiste range offering different smells including a brunette variety (I'm brunette and find the normal ones work fine though without leaving a gray cast) and I enjoy the smell of them all.  I find the 'Fresh' is my favourite.

This dry shampoo is great for oily roots and building volume in hair.  I use it on my 2nd and 3rd day hair at the roots and you can't even tell how greasy my hair is getting or how flat it is.  It is also great to fluff out your hair a bit and an alternative to damaging teasing.

The RRP on these is about $9.95 but you can normally pick them up for $6 or $7 on sale at Priceline or similar places if you keep your eyes open.

I think this is great for the price as it lasts me about 4 or 5 months even with very regular use.  A 5 star product.

Empty Product Review - Ophelia Makeup Rounds

Hi Pretties

Today I have an empty product review for you.  I did a post a couple of weeks ago raving about the Target make up remover pads and how much I loved them but I ran out one day and could not make it to Target so I picked up some of the Ophelia makeup rounds from Aldi.

I am an Aldi lover.  I think most of their products are excellent for the price and I really liked these as well.  I believe they were around $1.80, I can't quite remember but I think these are even closer to the Swissppers than the Target Pads.  There was no loose cotton to get stuck on your face, one side is ribbed and there are 80 in a pack.

A great buy.

Have you tried the Ophelia Makeup rounds?

Road Tested - 1000 hour eyelash and eyebrow kit

Hi Pretties

I have a constant dilemma.  I dye my hair darker and usually pick up the colour when I see it on special but tend to have to wait to apply it until I can get into the beautician to get my eyebrows tinted as I just look silly with much lighter eyebrows and darker hair.

I finally decided that it was time to buy my own brow tinting kit so I could colour my hair when it needed it, and spend $15 on a packet that will give me 12 applications rather than paying $15 a pop at the salon.

I picked up kit in Dark Brown which looks like this.  It states each application lasts up to 6 weeks and is waterproof and smudge proof.  To be honest it would be a little silly if it was not waterproof and smudge proof being that it is a dye on your face.

When you open up the kit is looks like this.  The packaging is wonderful as it converts into a mixing bowl and applicator.

The instructions are quite long winded, but for eyebrows you mix together a 2.5cm piece of the product in the tube with 10 drops of the developer into the little bowl and mix with the applicator.  I had a read of Ms-Jelena's blog who suggested that for eyebrows you only need half this amount.  I gave that ago and still had a lot of product left over.  Mixing was a little hard but after about a minute I got a smooth consistency.  It was very easy to apply with the applicator and I left for the recommended time of 6 minutes and wiped off with a cotton pad quite easily.

Voila, my eyebrows are darker and match my freshly dyed hair and there is no residue on my skin.

The best thing of all, I just ran the little bowl and applicator under cold water and it came up spotless.  Perfect for easy storage.

June Favourites

Hi Pretties

It is time for my June favourites!

This month as I was on Project X Pan I had a really good chance to 'shop my stash' and some of my favourites were some old products I revisited.

You can check out the video of my favourites here!

Or you can read about them!

My first favourite of June is a product that has been in my collection for quite a while but I am just getting back to using.  This is the Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in translucent.  I went off this a little when I purchased my Mac MSN as it was new and exciting, but while doing PXP I started using up and old foundation that had quite a dewy look to it and looked awful with the dewiness of the Mac MSN.  So I pulled out the old fav and I still love it.  I've just hit pan on it too but I will be repurchasing when it is done as it is a great powder to have in your collection.

Secondly I have a repeat favourite from last month I am still in love with and using nearly everyday.  It's Benefits Thrrrob.  I love this blush so much I can't stop gushing over it every day.  It is the perfect cool toned pink for my skin tone (pale) and the perfect wintery colour.

My third favourite for the month is a blush brush by Coastal Scents that I received in my 22 piece brush set.  This brush set is fantastic value for money at only $34 USD plus shipping and I love every single brush in the set.  This blush brush in particularly I have been raving over this month as it is super soft and dense enough to give you a light application or even a heavier application of colour if that is what you are after.

I received my Naked Palette and my Inglot palette in April so May was consumed by those and I neglected my other eyeshadows but this month I pulled out Mac's Naked Lunch again and I have been loving wearing this all over the lid with just some black eyeliner and mascara for a quick and easy work look.  It is such a nice subtle colour that it doesn't require any blending to look fantastic.

My last favourite is a Revlon Lip Butter in Sweet Tart.  When I first purchased my lip butters this was not one of my favourites.  It was pretty, but I didn't love it.  Now out of my 5 lip butters it is my absolute favourite and I am using it up too quickly!  Two swipes of this across the lips gives a hint of colour to the lips where 4 or 5 swipes gives a beautiful hot pink colour that is not tacky at all as some shades like that can be.  I will repurchase and repurchase this until they stop making I think.

So those are my favourites for June.

What are your June favourites?
